The pentagon shape, chosen for its correlation to the American Cleaning Institute’s five principles of sustainability, is a prominent symbol throughout the 2017 ACI Sustainability Report. It is the foundation for the design of the book, just as the five principles it represents are the foundation of ACI’s commitment to sustainability.
With bold colors, sharp gradients, and impactful imagery, this design is intended to mimic the strong stance ACI has taken on behalf of the cleaning industry.
